Symphony Candles ~ about us

Symphony Candles is based in Dorset and was founded in 1997 for the main purpose of supplying one of Europe's largest candle manufacturers. Chris Redsell, the founder of Symphony Candles Ltd, is a classically trained musician who spent twenty years touring the world.

In a complete career change he decided to buy an ailing candle company and in between concerts set about learning a brand new craft. Without being tainted by established customs and practices, Chris applied all the diligence and concentration needed, together with an artistic flair, to create our best quality candles. The set-up process was slow and so was making candles, as a result Chris invested in and helped build his first fully automated candle extruder. This means that Symphony Candles have the in-house capability to produce the most aesthetically pleasing and best performing church candles in high quantities and at competitive prices.

Symphony Candles is a company with a flexible approach. We carry out contract work and own brand manufacture at high and low volumes. Sympony Candles Factory Shop

We sell a complete range of our products including candle accessories such as candle holders from our factory outlet. We also offer church candle 2nds and any other over runs from contract work completed. The prices in our factory shop are heavily discounted which makes it really worth a visit. The factory shop is open to the public from Monday to Friday and can be found at our factory premises in Blandford Forum.
